They tend to think alike in terms of progressive college-age politics, but their online personas often come into conflict since Herman was set up to be Lord Elf's human whipping boy and Megan sometimes joins in the elvish superiority dance at the expense of her friend. Herman is not above returning the favor either; so it's not unusual for the two friends to argue and fight online before meeting up for a smoothie in the real world like nothing happened. During one ripoff recreation of a scene out of Tolkein, King Herman received Sauron's Ring of Power, which he uses to blast Lord Elf for amusement. |
